Well well well, the first week of the new year has come and gone so what actually happened? Lets see...
I almost got stuck in Chicago, the weather there is horrible, still don't understand why people live there.
I left Chicago to come home to Houston, and low and behold it's freaking 24 outside? WTF?
Work is back to normal, well if you call what I do normal.
Had to change a doctor appt, due to the fact I have to go to Chicago next week, see previous Statement.
One of my computers mysteriously changed IP's for no reason that I can tell. So my home website broke.
I finished Jeff Somers book (The Electric Church), and it was pretty good. I will read more.
AMA SuperCross is upon us with Anaheim 1, (A1). This should be fun to watch tonight. Go Kevin Windham!
Did I say it is below freezing in Houston? Global Warming my ass! (19 right now!)
BHO is still president. One more Terrorist Attack, and I agree with Bill O. His Presidency will be done!
Got my 90mm Macro Tamron lens this week and took my first macro shots... This is going to be fun, HERE
Decided to cut back on my Diet Coke w/Lime intake and just do water. Once my supply is gone...JOY.
Nascar is getting closer. YES, I can't wait.
The Texans had a wining season for the first time, and almost made the playoffs. Congrats 9-7!!!!

3 Day Sales....Happy New Year!

So of course today starts the traditional 3 day sale weekend. I am not sure I am going to go out and venture into this wonderland but I kinda want to. You see I need a stool for the desk/workbench I built this past week. It sits higher than a normal table so a regular chair makes me look like a 5 year old at a thanksgiving dinner. Just a bit more than my head appears above the edge of the table. Ok it's not that bad, but you get my point. We here in H-Town have a place called The Dump I know it sounds bad, but its a place where all those items that didn't sell during the year, are 'dumped' for lack of a better word. I have always wanted to go and check the place out, so I am thinking today I just might. Seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to do, and you never know I just might find a stool that turns me into an adult..
Ok I just checked the web site, and there are multiple dumps around the country. So maybe you can go and give it a go as well...
