If you have heard these things, then maybe this is for you. I propose to build YOU a machine (no monitor), and load it with the latest and greatest linux OS. I will load the Ubuntu desktop system.

Then I will collect money for the building of the PC and my time.

Have you said these things? How much willl it cost? I don't need a new computer? Or maybe I don't need it? Well let me tell you it is very inexpensive to do this. You can build a PC for less than $300 dollars that will run circles around winblows computers. The simple fact is you need less horse power to run a linux machine than you need to run the latest microsoft product.

I get lots of the normal questions, like "Can I read my email, can I view videos, can I surf the net, can I etc..." YES, I think 75% of the internet users out there surf and read email only, oh and don't forget deal with Virii!!! Linux does this very well and you don't have to worry about Virii.!!! Just so you know my Mom now uses linux on her Laptop that became useless due to winblows updates, etc.. She literlly didn't use this machine anymore! Rather than them give me this PC I suggested we load linux on it and see what happens. I think now she uses that machine more than her desktop. There are plenty of stories just like this, to find just do a google search for "linux uses" or "ubuntu reviews" and decide for your self. Then come back here and email me, I will help...

All I want to do is promote the community! If I can build a PC for YOU and get you to use linux, it will help. I also think once you realize you don't need to spend 2K to get a machine to surf the web, and check your email I think you will be convinced as well.
